The primary purpose of this procurement, and the proposed resultant Framework Agreement is to provide the participating Organisations with access to a number of high quality specialist Service Providers of Water Quality Management Services, not only for the control of Legionella but also including other coliforms and biofilms. Services will include Risk Assessment, sampling and subsequent reporting, treatment and maintenance of water systems as specified in the ITT, and compliant with current legislation and, in particular, the L8 ACOP Directives (2001). These services have been lotted according to the speciality. (Lot 1 Risk Assessment, Lot 2 Water Treatment and Lot 3 One-stop Shop)

SEC is seeking to appoint UKAS accredited contractors for the future provision to undertake Management and Demolition/Refurbishment surveys on behalf of its members. Services to include testing, consultancy, sampling and analysis of domestic, commercial and related premises in accordance with HSG 264.

NHS Grampian has a property portfolio that extends to around 100 sites across the North East of Scotland extending from Laurencekirk in the South to Braemar in the West and as far North as Buckie. The portfolio includes Hospitals, Health Centres Clinics as well as Industrial and Commercial premises and extends to more than 400,000 square metres of floor space. Due to the age and nature of NHS Grampian premises there is a potential health hazard arising from exposure to asbestos. Most buildings owned or leased by NHS Grampian were built or refurbished prior to 2004 and the use of asbestos containing materials in their construction was common practice and it is possible that personnel could encounter asbestos whilst undertaking work activities.

Asbestos Management Consultancy with Co-ordinator based in Elgin office for 3 days per week. Contract for 2 years involving annual Management surveys for 250 buildings and 53 schools, R & D surveys as instructed to corporate buildings and a random sample of 5,800 council houses prior to improvement works commencing. Staff and Contractor awareness training sessions (max 2 per year) also part of contract.

A Framework consisting of three lots covering the following: Lot 1: Management Services (Administration of hazardous materials plan) Lot 2: Scientific Services (Sampling, Testing and Analysis) Lot 3: Works (Removal and Remedial) The Framework will be for a duration of 3 years with an extension option of 1 year and will be available to all business areas of TfL and the rest of the GLA family.

Dorset County Council is seeking to establish a four year Term Service Contract, with an option to extend at one year intervals up to a maximum of three years, with a single provider for the provision of Site Investigation, Soils and Materials Testing Services. The single provider will need to demonstrate capacity and capability to deliver all the following services anticipated to be required under this contract:

The contract is for the ground investigation of the superficial deposits and bedrock along the A9 from Luncarty to Pass of Birnam and may also include ground investigation for the section of the A9 from Inveralmond roundabout to Luncarty. The scope of the works comprises ground investigation works which shall include but not be limited to exploratory holes in soil and rock, insitu testing, high quality sampling, installation of instrumentation, laboratory testing, post site monitoring and factual reporting in both digital and paper formats. Some works are to be undertaken on or adjacent to existing roads. These works are required to be undertaken under traffic management restriction. The ground investigation itself is to provide geotechnical information to aid participants during the main Construction Tendering process for the A9 Dualling Luncarty to Pass of Birnam Contract. The Ground Investigation Contract includes a Novation Clause.
