Her Majesty’s Stationery Office (HMSO), part of The National Archives, is responsible for the publishing of the London, Edinburgh and Belfast Gazettes and associated supplements. The Gazettes are the UK Government's official journals of record, used to publish 'statutory notices' - advertisements that are required by law to be officially published – and other official information. The service is predominantly delivered online, but currently has some print requirement. We are looking to operate the business under a concessionary contract. The approximate revenue generated for the Contractor in 2010 was 10 000 000 GBP. The concessionary contract awarded will give the Contractor exclusive rights to transform and deliver the Gazettes’ service. This will involve the capture, transformation and dissemination of advertisements, in print and online; customer service; and business development. The contract will also include the provision and development of APIs (Application Programme Interface), website(s) and applications. |
