The provision of a short term, self drive hire vehicle service, primarily in the County of Dorset, for the use of staff of the Participating Authorities in the course of their business.

The North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium Limited (NWUPC Ltd) is inviting Tenders to establish a Framework Agreement for the Provision of Vehicle Hire & Vehicle Leasing. This is split into the following three lots: Lot 1 Vehicle Hire Lot 2 Vehicle Leasing Lot 3 One Stop Shop incorporating both Vehicle Hire and Vehicle Leasing This Invitation to Tender has been advertised in the Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union and the Tender is being conducted under the EU Procurement Directives Open Procedure. This Framework Agreement will commence on 1st September 2012 for an initial period of 2 years until 31.8.2014. Consideration will be given to extending the Agreement for a further 2 x 1 year periods until 31.8.2015 or 31.8.2016, subject to satisfactory performance and the agreement of both parties. This Tender is being led by NWUPC Ltd, and covers the requirements in relation to Vehicle Hire & Vehicle Leasing of the following consortia; NWUPC, APUC, HEPCW, LUPC, NEUPC, SUPC and CPC who have committed to this procurement. Any other HE or FE Institution within the UK wishing to participate in this agreement is only able to do so via a subsequent application that is accepted by the NWUPC. The membership of the Consortia may change in the future owing to strategic realignment or the inclusion of new full or associate members, who could be outside the education/research sector, but within the Public Sector. Institutions that are not members of the Consortia may be subject to the payment of additional access fees on an annual basis to the coordinating body in respect of their use of the agreement. These fees are individually agreed up front with each institution and may be waived at the discretion of the NWUPC. The agreements will also be made available, during their incubation period, to those participating institutions spin-off companies where 50 % or more of their equity is owned by a participating institution or group of participating institutions. The NWUPC wishes to establish a Multi-Provider Framework Agreement for the Provision of Vehicle Hire & Vehicle Leasing. The Framework Agreement is split into three lots: Lot 1 Vehicle Hire Lot 2 Vehicle Leasing Lot 3 One Stop Shop incorporating both Vehicle Hire and Vehicle Leasing Tenderers may apply for one or more lots.

The provision of short term, self drive hire passenger and light commercial vehicles, up to 7,5 tonnes primarily in Hampshire, but on occasions outside the County.
